Kaanapali Beach - Island of Maui

The U.S.S. Arizona Memorial at pearl Harbor, Hawaii is an enclosed bridge which transversely spans the sunken hull of the gallant battleship, U.S.S. Arizona. The hull, reszing on the bottom of the harbour, is clearly visible in this unique photograph. The blue streak talling from the bombed ship is oil still seeping from the rusting fuelk tanks. The Memorial was solemly dedicated May 30, 1962. Its end wall is inscribed with the names of more than 1100 men who lost their lives when U.S.S. Arizona went down during the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941.

Tail of the Whale
Each year, thosands of humpback whales spend their winters in or near Maui waters. They have known the meaning of paradise for centuries!

This dramatic aerial view shows the man-made Magic Island adjoining Ala Moana Park. In the background is Honolulu Yacht Harbour, Waikiki area and famed Diamond Head.

Waikiki, sometimes called the Playground of the Pacific.

This aerial view of Honolulu from harbour to the mountain shows the progress of Hawaii. The Aloha Tower in the foreground at one time was the tallest building in downtown Honolulu - now dwarfed by new, modern buildings.

Iolani Palace, where the former Monarchs of Hawaii roled their Kingdom.
