Used Hawaii cards - Part 1

Fire meets water, Kalapana, Hawaii
A fiery stream of molten lava from the Big Island's Kilauea volcano flows into the ocean, creating a dramatic show.

U.S.S. Ariona Memorial...
enshrines this famous battleship sunk by the Japanese, December 7, 1941. The structure is an enclosed bridge transversely spanning the hull which is resting on the bottom of Pearl Harbor. The end wall of the Memorial is inscribed with the names of the 1177 men who lost their lives when the ship went down.

Wind Surfing
Hawaii's waters, from gentle swells to crashing surf lend themselves to wind surfers of all skills. The bright-hued sails and skillful riders are a colourful sight against the deep ocean waters.

An unusual aerial showing the inside of the extinct volcano, Diamond Head. The Waikiki district, surrounding areas, Honolulu and harbour are also clearly visible.

Hula dancing is exclusively Hawaiian and still delights visitors to these beautiful Islands in the Pacific... just as graceful performers have done for generations.

Red anthurium, giant tree ferns and wild banana thrive beneath the tall exotic trees of Hawaii's rain forests.
