Transport RR Group 64 from Canada

May 23, 1887 was a great day for Vancouver when CPR Engine 374 pulled the 1st transcontinental train into the city, and thus completed one of the great engineering feats of the century, linking the new nation of Canada from coast to coast. It was restored to its former glory for Expo '86 with funds raised by the selling of "name" bricks. It stands now in the heart of the city, in a new glass pavilion, built in cooperation of the Vancouver Parks Board and Vancouver Central Lions Club.

Thanks so much Janet (culturaldiversity) for this great card! :D
